my arms hurt 2 days post op

Has anyone else had issue of forearms hurting. My forearms hurt worse than my stomach. I just got out of hospital yesterday. I got sleeved the 12th

Your arms could be hurting because you are using them to get up and down, in and out of bed, etc to avoid using stomach muscles. Otherwise, maybe from the IV?

My right arm hurt really bad as well. It was because of the IV. The nurse tried to force the antibiotic into my hand and then took out the iv. She messed up my hand and my arm by forcing it. I wasn't happy. The pain did go away. But it's been 3 weeks and I still have a knot in that hurts from it.

Yeah that sounds familiar. I have small veins and the nurses couldn't get a good vein. Before my surgery they stuck me 6 times. Then the next day they had to stick me "AGAIN" because the original IV fell out and I needed additional medicine because I was dehydrated.

My arms hurt terribly after surgery. I was told it is caused by the gas they pump into you during the operation. It lasted for a day or two.

It is in both arms so gas in the body might be it. They almost burn. My arm looks like the iv infiltrated at the end and that spot is really tender too.

I had the exact same thing days 2-5 post op...felt like I had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson-my right hurt worse than the left (the one I had the IV in). My best guess is the CO2 trapped in your body from the surgery. It will subside...hang in there! Jules
