I actually told someone that once - told them I might be fat but they were an idiot and I could always lose weight but .... nuff said lol My closest friend and i were talking one day months ago and he said that someone he knew who lost a massive amount of weight was still a POS and I told him that if they were nasty before they were going to be nasty afterwards. For the most part I think if you are unhappy you will be that way thin or fat. Karma baby KARMA! It's great sometimes.

Wow. Just wow. Isn't this awful. I'm all for challenging behaviour in others if we think its not acceptable, but personal attacks are not on. If someone is going to challenge someone else for behaviour - they need to be travelling the high road themselves.

I am sorry amella seems to be struggling so much, but I echo the thoughts that any comments about appearance are completely off limits.

I too am sorry you haven't had a positive experience on the forum. I have found wonderful inspiration in the stories here and have connected with some great people. There are always those who post and don't realize or think about how their words will effect others, or they don't read their posts in another's voice. Stay, lurk and read others posts for a while and make some friends/connections. This really is a great place for support, especially if you don't have a great support system at your surgical program or home.
