    Default Rice & Pasta

Wondering if rice or pasta are on the menu any post-op? I have found this wonderful brand called "Miracle Noodle" which has no sugar, NO CARBS, no calories, no anything really but are suprisingly tasty. They are made from some sort of plant fibre. Think that would be ok?

It is hard getting anything in other than the protein which is a must. You even be able to eat many vegetables which are definitely on the list of things to eat. You wont miss the carbs.

Miracle noodles are fine as long as you get in your protein. the reviews on the taste arent that great. Ive studied about them but never tried them. I know they are no carb which is awesome. You probably wont want them after but it wont hurt. now if you have to lose weight before surgery they will be great! of course not for the liquid part but before.

I used Miracle Noodles when I was on the HCG diet. They are good if prepared properly. They absorb the flavor of whatever they are cooked in. For example, you can use them in spaghetti and they'll absorb the tomato flavor from sauce, or in Chinese foods they take the soy sauce flavor. I used them mostly when I was craving pasta. It was better to give in to the healthy version of a carb than to ignore the craving and binge later.
