Help. So torn

I am booking my 2nd surgery to remove extra thigh skin. A must in my eyes.

But I am torn about adding a procedure to remove my turnkey neck. image.jpg



It's a lot of extra money from 8 grand to 14 because my Surgeon is on the pricey side....but well worth it I think. But damn that's a lot of money

But if I'm gonna do it now should. Be the time. But how bad is it?....

So here's my 2 cents on the subject - I feel you are young enough and have enough years ahead of you that you will love love love yourself even more after surgery. If you have the money - do it. If you are on the fence - wait it out and revisit the thoughts again.

I don't think it's an issue of how bad it is, it's about whether or not you can live with it. Lots of people I love and value have all sorts of physical quirks.

Can I notice it in your picture? .... yes. Does it looks weirdly outside the norm? .... no. Lots of women once they are out of their youthful years have parts of them that are a bit on the loose side.

I too have wondered about having a neck lift. I'm still undecided. Some days I think definitely yes, other days I couldn't care less. I also wonder about having abdominoplasty and have the same thoughts. If I made £20K more per year I'd probably do it, but the money is a consideration as well.

Only you can decide. You do look absolutely fine as you are, but at the same time I understand the desire to do a nip and a tuck. Good luck in making your decision. You'll be great either way!

If you can afford it - yes - get the neck done too. It obviously bothers you and that is all that matters.

Do you need to have your neck done because of how you look? I say NO. I don't think that plastics should be done to make you look better. I think plastics should be done to make you feel better. You look fantastic the way that you are, but if you don't feel fantastic then plastics might be appropriate for you. The fact that you are considering getting your neck done tells me it bothers you. Will that feeling go away or will it always bother you? Only you can really say.

If it is going to bother you and you can afford to have it changed then I would say get it done rather than living with something that is going to drag you down.

You have enough beautiful features to make people overlook your neck. But, like others have said, if you have the $ and it bothers you a lot...

My gobbler is going to be the only thing I get rid of! I can hide everything else under clothing:-)If you click on my picture, you can see a black line on my neck....thats the overhznging skin that needs to go!

I think you look great, but I think I understand your desire to get the neck addressed. Do what makes you feel good. I have a consult scheduled for Monday and that is on my list.

Personally for myself I am going to do it when the time it right for me. If you can afford it..........do it! You look terrific but I know how you feel and I think you will love the new look!

Seems like an awful lot. Personally I wouldnt. But if the 6 grand is worth it to you then do it. My wife spent 13 for tummy and thighs.

Do you have time to try some facial exercises before you commit to surgery? Sounds odd, but truly, it does work....especially with someone younger like you.

It does bother me. It does not fit in with the me I want to be.

My surgeon offered me a payment plan and I'm gonna do it.

I'm in palm beach and the surgeons here are more expensive. I also admit mine is in the top if price even for this area. It's a team of 3 very highly regarded surgeons. In fact 1 was sought after to treat victims after the boston bombings. All 3 are in the surgery. I love that they use twilight sleep vs general anesthesia. After my tummy tuck the care in received was amazing and although my arms did hurt my tummy never really did.

The money does bother me but after almost an entire life of not liking what I saw in the mirror it's hard not to put the finishing touches that reflect all the hard work I did.

There will only be 1 thing left that I don't like....and I think that will be my reminder of what I did to myself and to never return. It's my "bra flap" or excess skin beside my bra... It's almost always hidden so I can live with it. Even in a good bathingsuit you can't see it.

Surgery scheduled for June 26'.
