Mel - I too am seeing this thread for the first time, and thank you so much, this was a great idea! I have found that some songs that just clicked at certain parts of our lives just stay with us forever, and have turned to those songs when feeling sad, happy, lonely. Thanks to you I have already started making a new playlist on my ipod! Personally I just discovered a new song while watching a movie that instantly struck me as an appropriate anthem for this year of change. The first verse and chorus are awesome and I can relate and interpret the lyrics in a way that totally symbolizes my journey. Hope you enjoy! And by the way - You look absolutely stunning!!

One more to share - picture an internal conversation with yourself, it may go something like this:

Hi Mel this is a fun thread. I listen to everything from Country to Classical. Mine is a before and after song. Its on my ipod on my workout mix (it's not super fast, so its kinda a warmup). I love this song and the lyrics are incredibly meaningful to me. Just a snippet:

And now that we're here, it's so far away
And I feel like I can face the day
And I can't forget that I'm not ashamed
To be the person that I am today

She thought she could......so she did!
