I just went through all the songs. What a great post. This was a great idea. I hope more people post their songs. BTW, love Mad World too. It always reminds me of Donnie Darko.

You are right Mad World is very Donnie Darko, I am really hoping that a bunch of people respond too. I am curious to see the difference pre and post op, the songs chosen, and I am betting we will get some funny replies as well. If you know anyone who might respond, that is a forum member shoot them the link. I think if people actually read the post, they will enjoy participating in it.

Since my husband and I were sleeved our health has improved greatly but so has our SEX life. Have mercy. So this is fitting. I will have to do some thinking for pre-op but this certainly is post op.

I love it, music speaks to my soul too. I've been sitting here listening to all this music, tears running down my face. I feel the anguish in some of your before songs and the determination in both before and after. For me, I had to get to determination before I was able to commit to this journey so BEFORE: Roar and Firework, and now AFTER: I'm just "Happy!" In fact, that song came on the other morning as I was driving my 13 & 14 year old grandsons to school. I started singing and dancing in my seat - they were pretty sure I lost my mind, BUT, it put a smile on their faces and they know Grandma is truly HAPPY!

Ok, here is my before song. A little explaining: I imagine singing this to myself at 300lbs, and trying to make myself DO something about my weight. I had dieted so much in the past that I just couldn't make myself try another one for very long, and I was so uncertain about getting surgery. One of the biggest influencers for me is how I felt about myself. This kind of represents that internal struggle.

@SeasonsChange...Sorry but with we are gonna go down that route, I just couldn't resist...I have a few of my own with regards to the sex life after surgery lol
