High BP and Possible Sleeve Complications

So i have been doing research on the sleeve i've been to the seminar and i have my intial dr.appt on 5-27-14,so i had an appt with my PCP and my bp has always been borderline high,at this visit i was perscribed meds. After reading the sided effects from the prescribed medications.. I would rather perform the gastric sleeve myself. LOL.
I would like to know what complications if any, are common for people who have HBP or have borderline HBP after having the sleeve.
I will be having my sleeve soon but would like to know if there is anyone who could share any information regarding their success with HBP and the Sleeve. Thank You.

I was on two different BP medications before surgery. I am three weeks out and off both medications. At my doctor's appointment on Friday, my BP was 110/70. Best it has been in years!!!

I've never had hypertension, but I know I've read about a lot of people on here who likewise stopped taking their BP meds as a result of the surgery. Of course health co-morbidities mean there is a bit of a higher risk associated with surgery, but high BP will just get worse if you don't do something about the weight. All good thoughts your way for success with the surgery!

My blood pressure was high and almost out of control even with meds before surgery. It dropped into the normal range almost immediately after surgery and I am now off all blood pressure medications. That's the extent of my blood pressure related "complications."

I was on BP meds and Doctor stopped BP meds on my day of discharge from the hospital. YAY!

I was on 2 meds before surgery and off both after surgery within 2 weeks (didn't need them the next day but had to see my PCP before stopping them) My BP last Friday at my PCP was 100/70. Had no problems during surgery and my surgeon wasn't concerned about my surgery with my high BP either.
