Freaking out!

So I've just begun my 2 week diet. I guess it's all finally real to me and now all I can think about is a leak. What if I get a leak?? That's dangerous and can long term hospital stays and even death!! I'm a single Mom! What if something happens yo me??? Is anyone else concerned about a leak or am I overreacting?!

It's normal to be scared and nervous about anything that *might* go wrong...but you should try to focus on how much better you'll be after you make this change. The pros outweigh the cons for sure!

How's your home support? How old is your child? Do you have someone to help you for a couple weeks post-op?

Know what you mean. My surgery is 2 days after yours. I go back and forth between nervous and excited. I watched a you tube video of the surgery and I'm not worried about leaks. I'm more afraid of nausea and vomiting. Guess we all have our issues to worry about.

Its very common to have overwhelming fear before any surgery. All will be ok. A few factors play into a leak. Out all of the people that I know who've had this surgery only 1 leak.
