Hi there Alaskans. I am a born and raised native now living in Washington. I am thinking about having my sleeve in Mexico with Dr Almanza. Still a little worried about post op with out a more local doctor for support though.

I am good awaiting approval for vgs sometime soon.....so far the hold up is my primary care dr filling diet and exercise forms for 3 months (1 month appt each and 1 is done and faxed) I gave the forms to be completed and now they don't have or can't find them with the chart...so I faxed more..so we will see how fast that goes. my mom had history of MI in her 60's with atrial fibrillation, blood clots in her legs, pacemaker and dr. wheeler wants me to get cardiology clearance for that reason. I am trying to avoid going down that same road and avoid becoming "not a surgical candidate", lose weight, get my energy back and enjoy good health for the rest of my life. . . .I am so excited.
