38 hours from now, it my turn & I'm NERVOUS!!

I also had surgery this past Tuesday and I was a total basket case from Sunday until we left for the hospital. I actually only slept about an hour and a half the night before surgery. From what I've read this is fairly normal. It helped to have a friend who was awake and chatted me up the night before surgery. That was calming, although I still couldn't sleep! Good luck and if you need someone to chat with the night before I'm usually awake until 3 am or so (my work shift is 3p - 3a so that's normal for me).
