I am glad to find a place where people have had the surgery that I am planning on having. I have been looking forward to this for almost a year now and have just over 2 weeks to go. My total WL goal is about 100 pounds. I have lost about 30 pounds by keeping to a <75 gram per day carb diet that I recently lowered to a goal of <50. I want to lose 70 -75 pounds after my surgery.

Welcome! You will find a ton of info on this site. Read through the forums and you can pretty much find the answer to any question you have. Everything I learned about the surgery came from here. Just remember that everyones journey is unique to them and just because it happens to some doesnt mean it will happen with you. Best of luck on your journey:-)

Welcome to the forum. Tons of information to digest. As said above, everyone's journey is different and you have to take away the info you can use and leave what is not for you....but, of course, none of us are physicians and always get your specific instructions from you surgeon.
