Hospital Bag?

I now have to start my 2 day liquid diet..2 days 8 hours and ill be at the hospital. All of you have been a great help! Im glad I joined this site. I know one other person that has recently had the same surgery and I needed a lot of help. I have people supporting me here but not as well as all of you have been able to. Any more suggestions are welcome =)

Omg! This is a nightmare =( why did no one tell me!? Lol. Stuck on clear liquids. I'm so exhausted, my body just doesn't want to move. I went for a walk today and it was very hard not to collapse! Idk how I'm gonna get through this. I can't even have yogurt till my third week. And I just barely got my first week done.

Good point about the incision at the bra line. I have all underwire bras for support. I had one incision RIGHT at the bra line because I had a hernia repaired. I ended up not wearing bras at all when I was in the hospital, just the gowns and a pair of panties. I know that sounds horrible but honestly, I didn't care. Trust me, no one notices or cares. once I got home, I was able to wear bras again without a problem.

I didn't even wear panties -- just the gown. But then I was catheterized until late the second day. I think they left it in because all I did was sleep for the better part of two days. Even when they got me up and sat me in a chair I fell asleep.

Hang in there... it gets better!
