Hair loss

I started to lose my hair at month 3. Im now at 5 1/2 mths out and it has slowed down some but there is still shedding. I know a lot of people say it is due to lack of protein but that isn't true in my case.

I had my labs done last month and all of my levels were great. My protein levels were well within normal ranges and as well as my vitamins. I was pretty shocked cause I thought for sure my protein level was going to be low but it wasn't. My doc says it can be from the anesthesia, shock of surgery and rapid weight loss which affects my hairs resting stage/growing stage. He has assured me on several occasions that it will thicken back up. I am hoping for the best.

Some folks get lucky and dont lose at all. Luck of the draw. But if it is gonna happen, it will happen. Dont let it get to you to much.

Knock on wood. I haven't lost any hair so far. I was getting my hair cut last week and talked to my hairdresser about it. She said she saw no signs so far. Hoping to avoid this one...

I never lost much, but suddenly now mine is curly on the back bottom of my head. No clue why but my wife keeps commenting on it.
