Default "Foamies" yuck !! Second time .

Now I am usually careful . But just had the "foamies" the second time since surgery . Actually not air why. Order a small light fruit smoothy with a shot of protein . Eating with a spoon .. About 8 th spoonful .. I was eating/ drinking this slow .. Felt that horrible bubble in my throat .. 4 mouthful of foamies .. Know not to try that again . Just do not know why it bothered me.

I'm not sure it's caused by anything you actual ate... the frothing/foaming is because the new pouch no longer contains stomach acids to break down your food so it creates that foam to push the food through for digestion. I've heard drinking warm water before your meal will help break the mucus down.. if you continue to have problems maybe try it? I think frothing is temporary so you shouldn't have it forever.

It could also be the temperature of what youre eating. The colder something is, the more it can irritate you. I was the opposite however after surgery. Loved cold stuff, hot not somuch.

Are u still taking acid reflux meds? Maybe try a lower dose and and see how u feel. I tapered off a few weeks ago and have been off for over 3 weeks and have no symptoms. No loud growlies, no excess hunger and no excess acid.

It was a frozen light pineapple /mango Smoothy .. And as soon as I took that 7th or 8 th spoon I could feel it.. And to make it worse ..I left the table and went to the rest room... After the foamies left the rest room and joined my friends.
I felt okay right after so we got in the car and left.. We had just crossed the $6.00 toll bridge and. I realized I left my good beach cover-up in the rest room!
Did not want to go back over the $6.00 toll bridge to get it. So mad at myself.
