I have purchased several of those squeeze packets of fruits/vegetables for post-op. I like their flavor and I can have them at 4 weeks. Not sure if I am brave enough to try the "entrees" though. They look a bit sketchy!

I had chicken and vegetables and beef and vegetables... it was nasty because there was no salt! After I added salt, it tasted fine

If you are going to go the way of baby food........make it yourself. Theres way tooooo much (for the lack of a better term) crap in it. Blenderize what you like - remember 1 ingredient foods are the BEST

I couldn't even imagine eating that. Yuk lol I ate the hell out of low fat refried beans with some low fat cheese and salsa though. Scrambled eggs were good all mashed up - I used egg beaters.

While shopping ahead is a good thought....do not stock pile. I only say this b/c so many people including myself had their taste buds change a bit. What tasted good before surgery might not 'sit right' post surgery. Buy some, if it agrees - you can get some more Much luck to you!
