I concur. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, you will have plenty of opportunity to experiment. I couldn't stand cottage cheese prior to surgery. Now, I have it everyday for breakfast and I have been since a few weeks out from surgery (when I went from full liquid to puree).

Yup I agree with both posters above. When you can't get much in, you want to focus on what you're enjoying and what your body tolerates. And you won't know that til afterward. You'll be eating small amounts so you don't need to stockpile!!

I made and froze broth for after surgery . Wanted something that tasted better than store cans or powder. I took the meat that I used for the broth and puréed it. I froze the puréed meats in ice cube trays and covered with plastic .. After surgery 1 puréed cube was 1 protein meal! Just thawed it out , heat and serve. I did keep some of the broth in while I puréed.was one less thing after surgery . I did try baby food . And only tried things that my baby grand son did eat! LOL if he would not eat it I did not try it.
The baby food was continent to just keep in a bag in the van. If we were out longer that I thought I always had a meal close at hand .

When choosing baby food, you need to be very careful, because the composition should be as natural as possible. I, probably, like most mothers, feed the baby with various purees. I believe that this is the perfect consistency of food that is well absorbed in the baby's stomach. However, I also believe that the child should eat other foods so that his body gets used to the variety of food. Fortunately, there are a lot of baby food manazines out there today, so I don't always cook. To be honest, I like to order food and even clothes from baby stores online. I do not think that this is bad, the main thing is to choose a good store that sells high-quality goods.

The choice of baby food must be made responsibly. It is very important that from the first days of life your baby gets all the vitamins needed for proper development. The breastfeeding process is different for every baby. My baby stopped eating breast milk at 6 months and switched to baby formula. Now we take https://thebestfromjapan.com/holle-c...formula-4-baby and give Holle formula according to his age group. He likes it very much. After all, it has a lot of vitamins. Which is very important for me as a mom.

Of course, this is a good idea, but children's food is designed for a growing child's body, so it's hard to say how high in calories it is.
