    Default Nausea

Aloha all! I'm usually on the forum encouraging fellow sleevers, but this time I need help/answers/support. I'm about 2.5 months out from surgery and all was going well until this week. I have been nauseated ALL THE TIME as well as very headachy. I eat as much protein as I can and drink tea and protein shakes; however, I still feel sick. Any ideas?

It may not be your WLS, you may just have a virus or a cold. Call your doc to make sure and good luck!

I agree, it sounds like something else altogether and I would call my primary doctor.

I was experiencing similar issues and it was a combination of lactose and a virus. Hitting together made it really hard. I stopped drinking whey protein (which is milk based) and got some rest and it helped a lot! The other thing you might try is drinking peppermint tea for the nausea. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

I am 6 weeks out. At 5 weeks, I developed nausea whenever I tried to eat anything - miserable. Talked to my surgeon, and he prescribed the patch behind my ear and zoloft in pill form. I have taken it the last week or so and am doing much better.

I'm about 7.5 weeks out and my multivitamin (they have me in a prenatal 2x day) is making me super nauseated lately. I think I'm gonna a go back to my chewable a tonight!
