Has anyone had a tummy tuck in the Houston Texas area? If so who is your surgeon? I am close to my goal weight and wanting to have a tummy tuck this summer. I am interested in knowing who your surgeon was and also any pricing information that you want to share. Thanks!

Hi Shannon, I had Dr. German Newell in Houston do my tummy tuck. He is absolutely fantastic, I'm very pleased with my results. I paid about $11,000 for a combo tummy tuck with extensive flank liposuction.

My best friend got boobs and her tummy done after having gastric bypass and she went to Dr. Rose in Uptown Park. She raved about him and I'm planning on going to him to get my tummy done once I'm at goal =)

I used my bariatric surgeon, Dr. Turnquest. I'm 11 days out and tho still in a lot of pain, my tummy looks nice and flat. (And I have a new belly button!) It was covered by my insurance as a panniculectomy (medically necessary tummy tuck).

Weight, Day of Surgery - 275 Beginning BMI: 45.8
10 days after surgery - 253.50 (-21.5 lbs)
102 days after surgery - 215.5 (-59.5)
149 days after surgery - 198.5 (-76.5)
IN THE ONES!!!! Current BMI: 32.5
10.5 mo. post surgery - 177 (-98 lbs). Current BMI: 29
16 months post op - 176 (-99 lbs.)
