I'm going through the same thing RIGHT NOW !!! I got to 216 from 330. I am now at 240. I'm a little over a year and a half since my sleeve. I began to give in to my addiction a year ago, and slowly gone back to eating sugar like I used to. I have contacted my folks who I worked with on my sleeve, they have a support group every month. I'm going tomorrow night. "Hi, my name is Buzz, and I'm an addict" here we go....

The sleeve is but a tool, period

Just read a great story on someones blog the other day who had WLS herself 10 years ago, she talked about the regain and a dear friend of hers who is regained and RELOST. Its basically getting back to the basics. Just because you stopped, doesn't mean you can't start again. Don't be too hard on yourself, celebrate the fact you are no longer 400+ pounds, this is not settling, this is acknowleding the facts. Now, celebrate your recommittment, its not easy as you well know, but you are an inspiration to us, beleive me you are, you are helping newbies no that this is not easy, so get back to the basics, start exercising and get rid of the junk in your house.

Thank you for your honesty too, i know its not easy facing the truth, but thats half the battle right there. STay in touch and let us all encourage one another. We are all in the same fight.

I have heard of people being resleeved.

"Lee, by "own it!" your daughter means that you should be proud of your accomplishment and understand that you deserve this. Not because you have to pay it forward or backward to justify your own benefits. She means that this is YOUR accomplishment, and accomplishing that for yourself is enough. You do not have to fix everybody. And you do not owe anyone for the benefits you have earned. They are YOURS!" Ann2

You're not a failure.. get back on track. You can so do it. You've come to far to settle now all that work is not in vain. Do not let desire break you for good. Ask your doc if you are a good candidate for an appetite suppressesant. No one needs to fail. Good luck

Oh come on!!! Do Not Give Up!!! You are not doing justice to yourself and your sleeve! It is still there and you have got to want to get there! That part IS all in your head! Get rid of that negative self-talk, get your vitamins, stock up on high proteins like meat, eggs, cheese, and more meat! Stay away from thecarbs for 10-12 days and walk for about a half hour a day! It wont kill you! But reapgaining weight and an attitude of surrender will! Message or email me! I am almost 2 years out and I am still fighting! I am here for you and so are lots of others!! You Can Do This!!!!! ((((hugs!!)))

There is no reason this needs to be "it" for you unless that's what you decide you want. Just put on your big girl panties and get back to what you know you should be doing. You know what works for you. You feel shame over your choices, so make new ones. You are the only one who can change your behavior. But you have to want to. You took a step in the right direction by taking accountability for what lead you astray. Now, when you are truly ready, go back to what you know works. The choice is up to you. You've come so far. Please don't give up on yourself and let that old negative self talk cause you to choose to ignore everything you learned and everything you went through to lose the tremendous amount of weight you lost. You did it before. You can do it again.
And as far as seeing a nutritionist, I have my own opinion about them. Unless they have had a sleeve themselves, they can't possibly know how we feel. They work off a textbook. Go with what you know worked for you. See one, or don't see one. But do what works for you.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just need to be better.

Thanks for the support gal's!!!! It's ironic, two weeks ago, I got a stomach virus, I'll spare you the details< anyway, since, I was "cleaned out" and still with a shakey tummy, I started back taking it easy with protiens, shakes, bars, etc. NOW weed out carbs and sugar and get off the couch and get active.

I'm glad Spring is here, it gives me motivation.

I agree with seeing a dietitian. If I could do what she says, I wouldn't need the sleeve. My problem is in my head
