Hungry ALL the time

I am not sure what's going on. I seem to be hungry all the time now. I am eating right and getting plenty of water. For some reason I'm still hungry. After I eat, before I eat, between meals, ALL THE TIME!!! Is anyone else experienced this. My doctor asked if I was craving anything specific (to see if I'm low on any particular mineral/food), but I'm not craving anything Imparticular. Help!! It's driving me nuts. Not to mention, since I dont snack between meals, I feel hungry all day.

I went through that for a while, but discovered that what I thought was hunger was actually some acid reflux. I started taking Prilosec and was able to differentiate the hunger pains.

I have the same issues and I was told I needed to look at more than the hunger and deal with some of the old triggers/issues on what was going on in my life. I was using food and the concept of being hunger to replace dealing with something else. Once I identied the issue and started dealing with it the hunger and feelings to eat went away.

It's probably gas pain you are feeling which is very similar to hunger pangs.

I'm pre-op so I don't know much....lol. But, maybe you should be eating a couple of snacks between meals??? Don't let yourself get to the stage of being overly hungry? Maybe someone else can speak more about that suggestion.

For me the sensation of hunger was actually reflux and resolved with a proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole. You might give a trial of omeprazole (over the counter) for a week and see if the feeling disappears. If it doesn't than you know you have to look for another cause of the hunger.

I know t his is an older post but any news on your hunger pangs? I just started experiencing this and take a daily acid inhibitor.

It went away and I learned to eat every 2 to 3 hours high protein foods no carbs. Drink I coffee and water. Feeling great staying under 1000 calories a day. Take gummie v every day and chewable anti avoids twice a day. Life is good it took me about a month or so to get the routine to work. Wishing you well

Heart burn feels like hunger. I thought I was starving all the time until someone posted that on here. I took prilosec and it went away. Now I can tell the difference.
