Just received a 280/120 BP yesterday. Don't know why -- I only weigh 370 on 6'.
Moving rapidly toward Gastric sleeve, and need as much info as possible. Down and dirty on surgery day and immediately thereafter.
Help! Need to move quickly.

but what I can say is read, google and learn. That's how I made my decision.

There are so many different areas in the forums where you can search for the questions you have. For me, this was the best decision I have ever made! Best of luck:-)

370 on a 6' frame is a LOT of weight your BP is high probably because that is way too much for you.. I know a guy who is 6'7 and weighs 370 and that is still way too much on him causing all kinds of health issues.
As for myself This was the best decision i have ever made. I never realized how big i really was until I lost the excess weight. At one point I was 435 and seriously couldnt see the weight I thought i looked ok just a little overweight I couldnt imagine loosing more than 50 lbs or so. But once I got down 100 lbs I could see a slight difference in the mirror but i still didn't see that ti was that big. Then I had my surgery and have now gotten to 180 and I for sure see the excess i still carry. I finally lost the blindfold i was wearing when i looked in the mirror. I cant even imagine being larger anymore its as if i can see reality now where before i refused to see the truth. I dont know if that helps but I want to also say this is in no way a quick easy fix this takes a lifetime dedication to yourself to get healthy and stay that way. Your wake up call sounds like it was your BP mine was a truck scale, we all have to hit that wall and say I have to change no other choice.

You need a mini gastric bypass not a sleeve it's a little more but easy more effective I've had the sleeve I'm two years out and not satisfied don't go cheap and cheat yourself. I'm going back in three months for a resleeve. More money so if I'd had a bypass mini that is I would've saved alot of dough.
