Tomorrow is another big day...

I have had so many wonderful changes to my life since my surgery the weight loss was just a small part of that but i havent done much with my hair so now I sit here thinking its time for a big change. The last time it was short I was about 320 lbs and it didn't look very good since i had a very large double chin which hid my neck. So now I am thinking about a Victoria Beckum type cut (spelling not right sorry) like this one Attachment 17283
And since all of you wonderful people have been there for me since the beginning I want your opinions yours matter more than those who have no clue what its like to go through what we have

Do you have someone that you trust that cuts your hair (not fair if you tell me you cut your own hair). So that is the first place I would start is to find someone you trust or someone you know trusts. Talk to them about their suggestions. I vote for something easy to achieve. Meaning they can make it look good in the salon but when you try it, not so good. When you have it done have them show you how to do it at home.
Sorry if this is a little patronizing, didn't know if you are a person that has been to a salon or not during the years. I know my first time years ago my hair was so cute when I left the place - then never to look like that again. Now I have someone that has been cutting my hair every 5 weeks for 25 years.

Good luck with you decision. Remember, if you don't like the first cut, it will grow and try something new the next time.

I agree, something cute and soft that frames your face. If you're scared, take it in stages. The other way to find a stylist is look at other women. When you see someone who has a great cut, just ask her where she gets her hair done. That's what my stylist of over 10 years told me to do when I was moving out of state. Just an unsolicited word about makeup. We all look better with a little. Get som BB Cream, any brand. You can find it at Walmart, not too much. Its half moisturizer, so real light. You can throw some on in the morning, a little mascara, and some lip gloss - I like Burt Bees - and in under a minute you look more put together. The moisturizer is so important to help skin tighten up. I think a lot of us were so overwhelmed by the weight that we just gave up. We have to rethink how we look at our self. At least that's where my head was.. Since starting on this journey, I've taken extra care to make myself feel good. I have no one to impress but myself, my husband always thinks I'm beautiful, but I needed to start impressing myself, so I get up, put a little makeup on, do my hair, put something cute on-even though it's still a 22 and tell myself I'm worth this. That's how I avoid the stuff that will sabotage me. Anyway, you look fabulous, treat yourself.
