I have lost 85 pounds.I still want sex s much as always. Guess my wife just is not feeling it... Been over a month

Just a thought, but I know my husband is scared of hurting me...maybe your wife is scared of hurting you so soon after your surgery. Mine was not that long ago and if I even make a small ouch noise when I move he freaks out.

HAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHA My cousin had the gastric bypass about 6 weeks ago. She has just been such a cheerleader for me. JUST TODAY when I was talking to her on the phone I said, "I am asking you this because you are my cousin----when can we have sex again after the surgery?" She said as soon as it doesn't hurt to move!!!!! HAHAHHAHHA I did mention it on another post but sorta forgot about it. Honestly, I am so blessed, my husband and I are pretty old fashioned---our vows really do mean something to us. For the participating in sex---well, I am a little strange about kissing and telling, but it appears that my weight has not changed anything in that department since we got married 25 years ago---- I guess it must be like wine---gets better with age??????

I haven't had my sleeve yet, but I'm not sure how we could possibly have anymore sex. I am so fortunate that my hubby of 22 years likes "fluffy" ladies. His biggest concern is, "how much of your butt are you going to lose. not too much, I hope." God I love this man.

As for those of you with shitty men either in your life or recently out of your life. We have hands!! Go buy a couple of toys and make it happen yourself. When it's time to find a man, your newfound confidence will help you find someone just perfect.

Josh: Where were you when I was picking out a husband? Thank you for the words of encouragement. I am hoping that my confidence picks up enough for me to really put him in his place or tat he sees that I have made a change and is encouraged to do the same thing to alcohol that I am doing to food. See it for the demon in our lives ithas been and get a grip. Maybe then he will start to a[[reciate me. You know how it is with small children, you don't want to upset the family. Anyway we shall see where it goes

Believe me, sweetheart, I'm FAR from perfect. I have my many flaws and quirks ... I burst into song and dance for no reason ... and usually unclothed, so it's a horrific sight for my poor wife to behold, I fall asleep on the toilet several times a week - then fart and wake myself up and spend the next 30 minutes searching my surroundings for an intruder, I'm a VERY active sleeper (talk, walk, fight) - so my wife hasn't gotten a full night of sleep since we've been together, I fall asleep after sex INSTANTLY ... even if it's ontop of her (try moving 400lbs of dead weight on top of YOU), I'm needy and whiny when sick or tired, and ... believe it or not, I've got a HORRIBLE temper and can be a real man-bitch when I'm hurting. I'm OCD, so I count EVERYTHING. Like ... I count every step I take kinda thing. Unless it involves sex, food, football, sex, maybe a sandwich and more sex - there is a good chance I'll have no idea what you're talking about, but I'll just nod and agree blank faced.

See!! TONS of random flaws. But I know how to treat a woman. God created Eve from Adam's rib to be his equal and by his side. Not beneath him. No one has the right to degrade someone else ... especially their life partner and help mate. Ladies, you are your husband equal - not his servant. Don't let him make you anything less than you were originally destined to be.

I love sex!!!! I've been married for 10 years now and the sex is great. I'm 3 days post op and can't wait till i feel better to have sex with my wonderful hubby who has been super supportive. There are good men out there girls and don't settle for less. =)

Wow, this is my kind of topic! So, my husband is a hornball, no matter what I weigh. He says I'm beautiful all of the time, but when I'm thinner I definitely want it more. I also do some lingerie action when I feel better about myself. It's funny because my husband doesn't want me to lose too much weight...he says the boobs and butt have to stay!!!

Oh jeannina, I feel your pain. My first husband was an alcoholic (and gay but that's another story). I lived with him for 13 yrs before I became strong enough to decide that me and the kids alone was better than them seeing him destroy himself on a daily basis. But it's really, really hard. Go easy on yourself my sister...You are taking a brave, strong first step and you should feel very proud of yourself.
