Today was MY DAY!!!!!

Here I am in ICU and everything I prepared for and worked hard for has come to pass. I am sleeved!!! Woo hoo lol
No gas No pain. I have been walking up a storm and it's been a great experience. Tomorrow is my leak test so I have high hopes that tomorrow will go as smoothly as today.

It has been 12 hours since my surgery this morning. I'm doing really well. I've walked up a storm and have chosen one of the reclining chairs as opposed to the bed. My friend told me the bed promoted her gas pain and when she was in the chair it was a whole different experience. I chose the chair right off the bat and have had no gas issues as of yet. I will keep you posted!

It's worked like a charm so far. East to get up from and that upright position seems to be the key. When is your surgery?
