I just got another delivery of unjury this week. I have never tried the unflavored but if you go on their website they have all kinds of suggestions/recipes. When I first ordered it I did it over the phone and got signed up for their emails ( they come at least once a week) and it helps alot. I only have used the choc - choc splendor - vanilla and chicken soup. I tried the strawberry but did not really like it, although it is also considered clear. I have always had the soup a s a broth and found it to be very filling. This was ok for the clear part before surgery and it took the edge off.

Check with your doctor. I was NOT allowed any of the powdered protein mixes during my clear liquid stage (one week post op.) They do not mix clear. I was allowed only the actual clear premixed drinks.

I like the EAS AvanrEdge carb control, get lean & Tone. It's light great tasting and ready made. For people who is lactose intolerance, this product is made with soy and is sugar free. Best premixed shake.

Think - I thought so about the premaid clear liquid. I found the tubes of New Whey in grape - add it to water and wha-la delish lol I might still just get the powder for down the road to add into soups etc
Thank you for clearing this one up for me (it seems our surgeons pretty much have the same philosophy

Okay, here's my review. I tried the Unjury chicken soup first in a clear chicken broth (from a box) and then in water. I used a candy thermometer to ensure I didn't go over 140 degrees (followed instructions). I actually prefer it in water rather than the broth, but I've read where many prefer it in broth. It took about a minute of stirring with a fork to get it to dissolve. It has a nice chicken flavor and I can't detect the whey taste or whey smell. It's smooth, not at all chalky. I give it a thumbs up.

The unflavored is def not tasteless! I read on here that someone had mixed it with their G2, so I tried it, and the taste was horrid! It makes me afraid to try it in anything else!

I am allowed the isopure too. I was just wondering if unjury fit into that category.

Oh no!! That's aweful to have a first impression like that. Maybe cut it in half? or I'm gonna guess you have it in your head it's gonna taste terrible and wont drink it lol
I tried the New Whey 40g protein liquid tube in my water - grape flavor - not terrible at all and it has 40 gr of protein or 42.
    I wish you well shemarie!

I definitely wouldn't recommend putting it in what you are drinking, (water, crystal light, G2, etc) because yes, you will taste it. But in other things like cream soups, broth, puréed stuff, mashed potatoes, pudding, etc. it's fine because they have a stronger flavor that masks that whey taste
