Nova Hospital?

I will be getting sleeved next month at Nova, I have read some mixed reviews on this hospital, has anyone done their sleeve here? if so how was your experience?

I did. The outside looks bad. It looks very Tijuana Mexico-ish. However, I must say that I got good, attentive care there. The inside, although it needs a facelift in terms of outdated fixtures, tile, and color of paint etc., it was clean and appeared sanitary. The nurses were very attentive and kept everything very clean and attended to your every need. The bathroom of my room was clea and updated/modern looking. The doctors and assistants and orderlies were very nice. Overall the experience was good but the outside may put you off. Just wait till you step inside. It is fine.

I had my surgery at Nova with Dr. Kelly 4 months ago - it's an old hospital, but super clean; most of the nurses speak English; we had 4 patients on our wing with 3 nurses - buzzers answered in less than 30 seconds. Excellent care - both nurses and surgeon! You aren't in the hospital that long - everything will be fine. I thought I received better care than here in the U.S. - you can have your surgery at the state-of-the art hospital - but it's thousands more (that's where you go for your leak test). . . you will be in good hands.

I had mine there back in July.. it's was a little off putting b/c it's old and outdated.. but the care was wonderful! I think I was only patient on that floor the first day and just a few more the next. Quick care, docs and nurses attentive and they make sure to keep your meds coming and dressings clean.
