Hi All
Well my surgery has been done for about three hours and so far so good.... Only issue is that it took 8 attempts to get mY IV in....so started with a baby iv and then went to an adult one after a sedative....so all is good....been for a few walks already and i have no pain.....Thanks to everyone for all your support....Dr Alvarez rocks.......

Day 2 today and will be going for my leak test shortly. I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Alvarez and all of his staff. I have been very comfortable and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Dr Alvarez. I am very fortunate that I have not had any nausea or pain to mention. It has been an excellent experience and looking forward to my new life as a sleever. If anyone has any questions I would love to try and answer them for you. To all the wonderful friends I have met here I can not say thank you enough. Sending you all hugs......

I just arrived home and am feeling pretty good after a 2.5 hour plane ride and another 2 hours in the car. I started my pre-surgery diet on october 29th weighing in at 248. Surgery Day (November 8th) I was 233......woohoooo 15 pounds already gone. I am going to try and stay off the scale for a week or so as I know there is still some swelling and my body has some healing to do. To all of you potential sleevers out there, this has been a very small sacrifice for long term gains.....Good Luck to everyone on their journey
