I have had the band in over 2 years. Its been nothing but trouble. Pains in the chest, reflux, oesphogtus, blocked food. I was told it was stress, then reflux, then i was sensitive with the band. I am now empty and still cant eat solid food or it gets blocked. then i have 2 nights of chest and shoulder pain. When i saw my surgeon he said i should change to a sleeve. Would solve my problems at a cost of course. Would it ? what do you think.

My girlfriend had similar issues with the band, she went to the sleeve and solved all the problems, go for it if you can, you should!

Sleeve. My mother had the same problem. No food, no liquids. She puked all of the time. ALL of the time. She was starving. Literally. Lost most of her hair. Finally had it removed, gained all of her weight back, plus. Get the sleeve. Its fabulous.
