61 and in Michigan! Having surgery at Blodgett in Grand rapids on Jan 7th. Glad to hear there are other seniors going thru this. When is your surgery?

66 (almost 67) and had mine on November 1. Everything went well. I was a little concerned going in because of my age but there was nothing to worry about. Good luck. I know that you will be happy that you did this.

My surgery is Dec. 16 th in Petoskey. I'm so looking forward to it. Start my 1wk pre-op diet on Dec 9th!!!! Good luck, I guess we're never too old! Lol

63 yrs young here. I just had my surgery on Dec 3rd. It wasn't bad. I look at it like this: I a giving myself a better quality of life and a longer life, by getting my weight under control.

just saw this thread on us "older" sleevers. I'm 63 and so glad I did this. all my doctors I see are very happy I did this also. I'm a cancer survivor and may face more surgery so this will make me in better shape for it. we are never too old!!!

I was 62 when I had the surgery. That was 16 months ago & 120 lbs lost. Best thing I've ever done for myself! Good luck on your journey. :-)
