I just listened to Carrie Underwood's song Wasted and thought this is an awesome workout song that really reflects how I feel about my journey with the sleeve. Time to stop wasting my life and get rid of things that are not healthy for me!

I know I'm behind, but this is great !! Thanks for doing it and count me in. I went to the gym today and did 30 minutes on recumbent bike, then walked for 5...got reprimanded by my doc for the bike...can only walk for 3 more weeks, but count me in !!!
My week activities: Mon - 45 mins cycling; Tue - 45 min treadmill; Wed - 45 mins elliptical; Friday 60 mins recumbent bike; Weight training - 3x this week, 50 reps on each machine; abs, 7 upper body machines, and 6 lower body machines. I have to pay more attention to the name of the machines.

I am juggling finals so I read the post but forgot to come back and post, I apologize.
As for me, I went to the gym twice this week and burned 460 calories total doing a walking running combination on the treadmill.
As for totals:
We have collectively burned approximately 2915 calories!!!!!!
We have exceeded the goal but this does not mean that we should not keep going this week. This will help me set a more realistic goal next time. So, all the people who wanted to join in please still feel free to add more calories to this total and lets see just how far above the goal we can reach!
I will not post a challenge over the holiday season because I know people will be busy with family and shopping but I will post the next one January 6.

I'm in. .. why don't you start a group. i walked foran hour today and did 4 flights of steps. . I have no idea how much that burned
Wow, I totally missed the rest of this conversation after day 1. I am going to try a spin class tomorrow - the doc said it is ok, just no resistance on the bike. Even with no resistance, I am gonna DIE !!! But I am gonna try
The class is an hour - will let you know how I do. I should probably drink a protein drink before - would anyone agree? In the past I would have had one after, but I don't know if I will have the stamina without it.
