Default concerned about protien on full liquid diet

Hi, everyone. I'm a newbie, just sleeved on 11-13. I am on full liquid diet phase and concerned I am not getting enough protien. I have one muscle milk a day, cream of chicken and mushroom soup with milk powder, skim milk, and unflavored protien powder mixed in it, and my husband juiced some veggies and added the protien powder to it. It is all I can do to drink my shake, it takes me two days or more to eat one mixture of soup, and he made a small amount of juice knowing it's hard for me to consume. I am not getting more than 30gm of protien a day and I am worried. I am afraid of my hair falling out. Is it possible to get more protien than this while still on liquids? Should I be worried?

Try Isopure from GNC - It has 40 grams of protein in each bottle; you can mix it with your water and get your fluids and protein at the same time. It's not cheap but probably worth it. Also I heard you can take Biotin to help with hair loss. Good luck!

Hi Jessie, I do the unflavored protien powder like you. I can't stand the taste of the flavored ones and I spent a small fortune trying a lot of them. My fav is unflavored Now Sports Whey Isolate I buy it on Amazon and the auto ship. It is HUGE! I bought all types of sugar free flavoring to make different shakes so I don't get tired of them. I found a place online that sells the big bottle for only $4. You can add extra scoops of protein to your drink so you can get it in. Make it first thing in the morning and just continue to sip on it until gone. You can add fruit and blend it to get more calories. Then as soon as I finish that one I make another and drink until I get ready for bed if I have to. I'm on solids now but I still get my protein in this way because there are days that I don't eat enough protein. I make them like smoothies or Ice cream for variety. I agree with the first post, get some Biotin also Hope that helps.

I used Isopure cut 50/50 with water, it tastes like kool aid...kind of. Luckyvitamin.com has the best price on the 12 pack sampler case.
