Sorry I have not been on in a loooong time. 1) I forgot my username and password. I still haven't had my surgery. I keep having set backs and stumbling blocks thrown in my path. Good to see there are some Okie peeps out there. Let's keep in touch! I am thinking of starting a support group.

Hey, I also live in McAlester. I will find out in two days whether or not my insurance will cover the surgery. The wait (weight?) will probably drive me insane!!!

I'm in OKC. Having my first appointment June 7. I am using Dr. Hamilton Le at Integris Weight Loss Center. Has anyone had experience with him?

I will for sure. They just called to confirm my appointment. From what the lady was telling me when I dropped off my paperwork he will go in detail about the surgery and I think I start setting up appointments with the nutritionist, psychiatrist etc. I really hope to be able to schedule a surgery for sometime in September but that may be just wishful thinking. I'll let you know what happens.

he is very skilled doctor, you should not be nervous you are in great hands. Nothing but good stuff on the wire from his past patients. Get your head wrapped around that you are changing your life forever this is not play time. Blessed sucesss

I'm an Okie! :-) I'm from Ardmore.. My surgeon is Dr. Hamilton Lee out of Integris OKC. my first apt with him was 8-8-13 and on Monday 9-30-13 I will complete my final test required by Dr Lee. I will go back to see Dr lee the first week of October and schedule my surgery date! I'm starting to get really excited....now that it seem like its finally going to happen! I want my life back I'm tired of being fat!
