Liquid diet ...blahs

I am 6 days post op and feeling very blah about the liquid diet. I've been having broth, decaf tea, sf Popsicles and sf jello. I see my dr on Friday and them I can start the purée stage. Friday seems so far away!!!!

hang in there. i wanted to die when i was on that diet. on thing that really helped me was ice from sonic. the crushed ice is so delicious. i bought different crystal light products and ate it like a snowball. it was summer so it was easier. try the protein shakes, they helped also. good luck. it will be worth it, you are over the physical part, its the emotional part of missing food that is harder to overcome

it gets better. Hang in there 3more days. It will all be worth it

I understand, I'm 7 days post out and it's very hard, but just think we are almost off the liquid part. I also see my doctor Friday and I cant wait.
