New and searching for a surgeon!

Hi everyone:
I have been reading your posts and am so excited about the possibility of getting sleeved. I have fought my weight since I was a teenager. Like you, I've been on every diet known to man. I had given up but now believe that with support and commitment, I can actually get to where I need to be - 100 pounds lighter!

A bit about me. I'm 50, mom to three sons and a daughter, all in other states doing under grad or graduate studies.
I live near Kansas City, Missouri and work at a not-for-profit.
I'm married to the love of my life. He is in awesome shape and very active. I would love to get involved in his activities, but I'm too out of shape.

I have not selected a surgeon but am looking at Mexico for my surgery.
I had chosen Alvarez, but at double the price of other Drs, I just couldn't do it. Who would you suggest and why???

Hope to make some friends and maybe even a sleeve sister... I'm looking at surgery in mid-January.
