Wow, what a day for you! Glad you were able to get the care you needed!
OMG! That was so awful I laughed.
What the hell?!
Tonight, take bottle to bed with you and pee in it. Please!
Ann

Quite a scare this morning, I was taking a shower and noticed a black grapefruit had replaced my, um, pride 'n joy (testicles).
Called the doctor in a panic, was relieved to know that this was part of the healing process in men. A man's scrotum acts as a "raincatcher". Whew. Should subside "within 10 days".
Well, you sound a lot better. Please, no more fainting. 'Scuse me ... passing out.

It's very strange, my doc had me discontinue my arthritis medicine until next Tuesday, so my arthritic hips ache something fierce. My right ankle is still the size of a softball and I can't put much weight on it. I have no skin on the outside of my left knee, which is irritating as hell, and I have a bruise on my left shoulder that reminds me of it's presence when I lay down.
But...my tummy tuck incision gives me very little trouble, only when I transition from laying to sitting and standing to sitting. Even then the pain is about a "3" on a 1 to 10 scale....not much at all.
I just had the best shower of my entire life.
Gotta love those first post-op showers.
Ahhhhhhhh.
I just had the greatest shower of my adult life a few minutes ago.
First post-op shower is the best....

Glad to hear you are doing better! What a bummer about all the falls but I'm glad they were able to get you "back on your feet."

It's 3:30 a.m. on post-op day 4, and I have successfully navigated the milestone of getting out of bed by myself. I'm making the "command decision" to take some arthritis medicine and risk a little dizzyiness.
Took some pics of my bruising last night. I've got the expected bruising around my groin area in front, but the big surprise was the amount of bruising on my back from the liposuction. My doc promised me a "V-back" and by God that's what I have, a pink V and extensive bruising from fat removal outside the V. Pretty carved up looking back there, thankfully I've got both the arnica pills and arnica cream to lessen that.
Gonna spend the rest of the night in the recliner. G'night ladies.
I'm really glad you're feeling better. It takes courage to go out and secure a better life for yourself. Go for it.
