Finally on the otherside!

My surgery was on Monday and it went perfect! I had read lots and lots of blog post and articles and knew what to expect or so I thought... These gas pains are pure evil! I also had a scary moment when I got home and decided I should take my vitamins, I must of taken them to fast , cause about 5 mins afterwards I was throwing up. Talk about a learning experience I don't want this post to be totally negative, I'm truly happy I was able to have the surgery and the new life I'm going to embark on. I was wondering though my doctor sent me home on the thick liquid diet ( blended soups, yogurts, puddings, etc.) and I'm curious what the best way to get all my protein is?

congratulaions on your surgeory, and good luck in recovery, i havent had my surgeory yet but i read a lot and someone suggested GNC flavorless whet protien you can add it to evertthing . good luck

you add in your protein in the soups and get your shakes with protein too and welcome to the other side

Congrats and glad it went well! Greek yogurt has some pretty good protein content and was my buddy (along with protein shakes) during the liquid/mushy stage. Wish you the best!

Congratulations! As previously mentioned I've heard that people use the non-flavored protein powders and also use the protein drinks.
