I feel the same way! I am so sick of soup!! I have added mashed potatoes and creamy peanut butter and so far it's been fine.

When did you have your surgery? Your stomach aching is your body's way of reminding you that was too much too soon. I put 4 crunched-up garlic crackers into some very bland soup the other day and it was WAY too much for me and I ended up with abdominal cramping and vomiting off/on for 7 hours. those few bites were absolutely not worth it. I waited until they were soft/mushed up, but it was still too much. I don't have any nausea or pain at all except when I try to push the diet a bit, or even have a hint of too much to eat. Still learning where the new tummy's limits are.

Take it easy, and all should be good.

Mine was Oct 22. Yes i know it was my stomach telling me. lol I'm not even hungry, its more of a need of variety. I will just be glad to have something other than basic fluids. I have had a bit of mashed potatoes that i watered down, and a half a tube of Chobani tube yogurt. Not too bad i figured. I'm also sick of protein shakes.

Instead of shakes have you tried the Profect 2.2 oz protein fruit drink shots? or the regular protein fruit drinks? unflavored whey protein you can add to any liquid/soup base. but it's great how much you have lost!

I hate milky flavors so I know exactly how you feel right now. I was so tired of yogurt and protein drinks by the end of my puree phase that I didn't get my protein numbers in the first day I was allowed cheese.
