I was just reading about a celebrity who got the sleeve-why so many haters?

I have always appreciated people that were honest about themselves. Remeber when Jamie lee Curtis did the no make up shoot, and told her honest weight I think 170 how empowering. I am honest about my surgery because that who I am. I have worked my whole life to loose weight, there are numerous studies that show the physiological differences between thin people and fat people, enzymes, metabolism, hormones etc etc. This was my best bet to get healthy and enjoy more of the rest of my life.
People will always give opinions about things they know little about. Those of us that know better will be gracious and patient. Soon we will be thin and will not be defined by our external selves.

It has become a very sad world....hopefully we are teaching our kids the right way well mine already know to show respect and teaching my grandkids too.....it goes a long way respect.....
