    Default Protein powder?

Which do you all think is the best? I'm hesitant to buy just any because I want to know which is going to be the most beneficial.
I had my sleeve at 19 and would do it all over again

    Hi there,

I found the best supplements were Bariatric Fusion...they are tasty and designed for Bariatric Patients.
Be creative and think outside the box when making your shakes...

If u purchase from GNC u can return it and receive ur money back or exchange if u don't like the flavor. Just remember to hold on to ur receipt. Tape it to the container or bag so u don't lose it.

I like Now Sports unflavored whey isolate. Amazon.com & bodybuilding.com have the best prices. I use Torani, DaVinci or Walden Farms sugar-free syrups for flavor or add it to any liquid or yogurt.

The only protein powder I bought was Unflavored ISOPURE protein isolate from Amazon.com.

Otherwise, I only bought premixed protein shakes - Premier Protein and EAS carb control - both in chocolate flavor. Luckily I didn't wind up buying a whole bunch of protein that I didn't like.

The Unjury Chocolate Spendor is good. It was my fav before surgery. Since surgery, I find myself sucking on Syntrex Nectar Iced Lemon Tea, roadside Lemonaide is also good). It seems easier go get down the water based protein drinks now as they are not as rich and a little less filling.

Don't worry about hurting my feelings because I guarantee you not one bit of my self esteem is tied up in your acceptance.

beneprotein is suppose to be the best source of protein u can get according to my dietician and its completely flavorless so u can put it in or on anything . its a lil pricey and harder to find but well worth it!!! as for the pre mixed protein drinks I have also heard from many premier protein from Costco is awesome!!

So far I have used the Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel, Vanilla Bean Torte and Twisted Cherry and they all seem to taste pretty good. I also have the Isopure Unflavored which is fine mixed into things. If you look at my blog entries, pre-op I was posting product evaluations for the items I have tried and will resume doing so in the next day or two. I have the Syntrax Apple Ecstasy and the Roadside Lemonade to try, as well as some of the protein shots.

The important thing to remember is this is a lifestyle change... these drinks are produced to taste as healthy as possible but they don't have all the sweet crap we have trained our bodies to enjoy. Don't expect them to taste like a homemade milk shake from your local shoppe! I am a very fussy eater, and don't find them bad so far, but I have realistic expectations on what I want them to be. I know these are a nutritional/protein supplement to aid me in my weight-loss journey, not a dessert or chocolate fudge replacement.

The sugar-free syrups from Toraini or DaVinci have been helpful to add into my protein drinks as well, but not crazy about the white chocolate one!

    Best wishes to you!
