I'm having my VSG surgery on 12/11/13 at Nuffield hospital Brentwood. I cannot wait. I start my pre op diet on 29/11. Excited but scared too

Congrats!! Waiting for my funding was the hardest part so far of the process. Harder than my actual decision to have the sleeve, harder than the liquid diet, harder to resist the incredible urge to purge my closet already, etc. Glad you are making the decision for your health, the rest are just awesome'side-benefits.'

Who did you get the loan through if you don't mind me asking? I haven't had the talk with my doctor yet about how I'm going to pay for it. I was hoping they had some kind of financing or something.

My bank NatWest. I didn't use the company's financing as the APR would have been much higher. My GP would have put me forward for NHS treatment but the pct that covers the area I live in only offer the bypass.
