Hurting Pain after I eat

I don't know if I am eating too much or too fast. After I eat sometimes I get this hurting pain in my stomach, I know I am full and I know I can't eat anything else. It's not like I am going to vomit or have to go to bathroom it just sharp pain that hurts. Is this common if you eat too much or something that doesn't settle with you?

You've either eaten too much or too fast. Try to find your sign of when to quit. I honestly feel a pinch in my stomach and I know it's time to stop. Best of luck.

I've never had the sharp pain. I get discomfort in the area of the xyphoid process (lower part of sternum) and some gurgling but never sharp pain. I would definitely try slowing down. And this is coming from someone who is highly frustrated by how slow I have to eat now.
