body media device

I have started thinking about getting a body media link arm band. Before I make the leap I thought I would ask if anyone here has one? Do you like it? Has it helped you? Do you wish you had gotten something else instead? The fitbit Flex also looks good. Has anyone tried both? I would love to hear your input!

I just recently purchased a BodyMedia Core band and have used it for a couple days. The Link is better because it loads everything in real time an not once a day or as often as you plug it in. Right now they have them on their website where you can purchase and get 12 months of service free, beyond that you pay $6.95/month for service. I will probably send this one back and get one straight from the website since it has the longer subscription service.

I like it so far, have worn it for 2 days (even while sleeping.) I like that it has a sleep monitor on it, and I found I am not getting near as much sleep as I thought I was. I also did some vigorous scrubbing of the tub and it counted that time as exercise! It has been great to accurately know what my basal metabolic rate is as I had under calculated it. So far so good!
