When I left the hospital, the nutritionist there told me I could have sugar-free popsicles or frozen fruit juice (no sugar added). Since we're on the road, the opportunity to eat a popsicle is non-existant unless I buy a box and throw most of them out. But today at a travel station, there was a freezer of single-stick type popsicles. I don't remember the name, it was something Spanish, but it claimed to be all natural and 100% fruit. I don't think they were fruit juice, tho...they looked like they were made from pureed fruit, which is different, isn't it? In the end, I didn't want to risk it, but I've been thinking about them all day ( nothing but broth and water will do that to a girl).
Has anyone out there tried a similar product? Should I wait until the pureed foods phase to be safe or did I pass up a perfectly good popsicle?
