Maybe you should just pretend u had it and do the same diet we are on!!! I never lost my hunger feeling, I just didn't want to die cause I ate!! You should try it!!

I can't even imagine your disappointment. But I believe you answered with your statement about praying for God to guide the hands of your surgeon. As disappointing as it might be, it sounds like it was not the path you were to take at the time.

That is very true. That,s why I have mixed emotions about the outcome. Some surgeons may have tried with an open operation and still would not have been successful because of the scar tissue on my pancreas.

Judge 52, bravo to you on your attitude of being willing to try something else. You will be successful!!! I'm sorry the surgical option didn't work for you but you'll find your own way. Your trust in God will see you through.

Was your surgery done with the open incission? If so how long were you in the hospital and how was it immediately after the surgery. Can I have some more info on your experience with an open surgery

No they didn't have to do the full open but I went in fully aware that it could be. So I got really lucky that my surgeon was able to do it normal, because of scar tissue though she had to move where she did the incisions so mine are kinda all over the place ....I don't know your situation as far as scar tissue goes , but if it were me I would go for a second opinion just because I am a determined person and don't like to hear the word no.....best of luck ...

Wow!!! I am so sorry that this happened to you! I wish they would have been able to see this sooner before you going through all the preparations and going into the operating room! I wish you all the luck in your next step and I hope you find success in it!
