Dena I am also your neighbor! Dr. Eric did my surgery also. I will have to try the gladiator. I might just get one in the morning.

Dena, I love tomatoes and okra! I have to learn to eat it without the cornbread and sweet tea!

Okay, the chicken recipe. I work at a dock and one of the guys off the boat brought me a plate of pork roast hed made in a crockpot with small red potatoes, carrots and, mushrooms cooked in cr of mushroom soup roasted garlic flavor and onion sp mix. It was heaven, I tried the same thing with chicken, it was sooo good and soft enough for us. I don't eat all the trimmings but the chicken cooked in it is the best! Beef is great too but the chicken goes down th easiest.

it's so neat having southern coonass girls on here. i just love it. i'm originally from houma and raised as a child in montegut. can u believe it? also, my family has had a camp in grand isle for over a hundred years we still have. small world.

We lived on Grand isle for 4 years helping with a church. I loved it! If you are in Houma on the 27th you should drop by our support group! I think Dr Eric is the next speaker. I may need to double check that though. the first time I saw the name Ruby slippers was a company up on 90, any relation?

no, rubyslippers was my dog that passed away last june a year ago. i keep her memory alive even though i have a new english cream long hair dachshund named reesie. i'd love to go to houma and visit w/my family on the 27th but i'll be in florida for a week leaving this saturday.

i'm still at a stall for now over a week, but i know the scale has gotta move soon. i have no desire to cheat of any sort and feel as though i could be eating less this past two weeks. after about 5 bites i'm done. i try and eat more often but then again it's just a few bites.

we are going to dinner tonight w/friends who do not know i've had the surgery, but they will know before the end of the dinner. i have no idea where we are going, but i'll just have the chef fix me something i can have. i really haven't kept my surgery a secret to anyone.
