I had a sleeve put in on 9-3-13 after four years of a lap band that ended up prolapsing and having to be removed. With the band I lost 100 lbs. but gained 30 lbs. back when I started having problems with the band. My insurance company approved going to a sleeve because of my success and getting off so much medication. Now I have the sleeve and am not sure how to tell if I have eaten enough or drank enough. I know the first couple of weeks are hard because I am still healing. Any help out there?

I wish I could help you more! My doc wants me to try to get 64 ounces of water in a day right after surgery. And clear liquids only for 3 days post op. hopefully that helps!
