I have a ruptured disc, Fibromyalgia and other joint issues. I am doing so much better. I am almost 3 months out. I am doing things I never could have dreamed of doing before. Before surgery I could not even walk to the time clock and back to clock out for lunch. Now I can walk laps around the building during lunch just to get in exercise. I go to the gym. I am off several of my pain meds. I do not take any NSAIDS but I did not take any pre-surgery.

Adding my two cents about NSAIDs. I was one week out of surgery and had a knee issue and had to go on NSAIDs. You have to be careful what you go on because some of them will destroy your stomach and others you can't crush. Celebrex is one that they kept trying to put me on, but later I found out that you can't crush Celebrex. Often you get different opinions on what you can crush, so just be very careful.
