Default Im still here. Having a hard time

I haven't posted in a long time. Maybe since last Feb when I went to the diet class and got so discouraged. Now I am still fighting the battle of making good eating choices. I still can't eat much but I can eat pretty often so my weight has climbed. Not sure of my weight right now but I'm thinking that I have gained 13 lbs since Feb. I know this is awful but in the past I have been known to gain way more than that in 6 or 7 months. SO the sleeve is still helping me. Now I am sick of failure and want to succeed in this weight loss journey. I cant walk much due to knee and back issues. I plan to start the 5 day pouch test tomorrow. I know this is not a very encouraging post but it is what it is and I am ready to do better.

Knowing what you need to do is the first step in the process of heading in the right direction. I tend to be a 'grazer' as well, and in the past month I have tried to make a conscious effort to eat actual meals and not nibble all day. Just trying to mentally prepare myself for when I have my sleeve.

Remember, we are here for support and keep your chin up and do what you need to do to be successful!

You are less than a year out? And you have started to gain back? I had surgery same time . Nov of 2012. I have just begun to realize how easy it is to gain even with the sleeve. You have to really want it and it sounds like you do. Just go get it girl. You can do it. The more you lose the easier moving around will be. Go back to protein shake for breakfast and dinner.. I havent gained any but I can eat often enough I can see its possible. I also have hunger still. your not alone! Its still hard if addicted to food.! Good luck!

I had my surgery Feb 25 2013. I am eating a little more but am still losing weight. You really need to get active!
I have been going to the gym 2-3 times a week since 3 months out. It really helps and I eat rice cakes if I'm hungry instead of something else.
    Good luck!!!

Oh contrary to what you think it is a very positive post!! You have turned yourself around found some help and starting the turn around tomorrow morning! How is that not positive! You might consider doing the liquid diet again for a week with some lean meat and veggies for dinner every other night for a week. This will help you to get away from the carb addiction and restart your appreciation for some foods you might have gotten tired of. What ever you decide to do it is a turn in the positive direction!! Best of luck with it and remember we are here for you!!

You are facing the problem and putting the truth out so you can move on. Now that you have spoken your truth lets get back to basic. Do the 5 day test and get back on track. I respect you for being honest not just with us but with yourself. I am cheering for you, that you can get back on track. My late Mother use to say " You only fail if you stop trying to reach your goal". You have not fail yet, because you have not stop trying to reach your goal. Chin up, get going.
