Hi Charmaine,
I have been interested in getting sleeve for over 5 years!

Between insurance and no support from doctor I just couldn't get started.
I put my foot down a few month's ago and begged my reluctant doctor to please refer me to a bariatric surgeon.

I am now going to a bariatric surgeon support group to get educated.
I am in Cape May, New Jersey and am very leery about all of this! I know nothing about the doctor and really don't think my Hospital is a Center of Excellence or Certified.

I had a stroke last month and really think this tool will help me take the weight off!

Maggie, what hospital are you going for the support groups? I had my surgery at Kennedy, in Stratford, and facilitate the groups there. I know it's far, but I do know some hospitals in your area, and would be interested in knowing what goes on there. You were very brave to forge ahead and get the surgery anyways. Continued success!!

I'm in Cape May County as well. I went to Dr. Onopencheko at AtlanticCare. I had the sleeve done 7/14 and have had no problems at. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.
