Bloating and pain almost three weeks Post surgery??

I'm starting to get concerned that I constantly feel bloated and I'm continuing to have some pain! Has anyone else had this linger so long??

Where is your pain? Are you having bowel issues? Have you called and notified the doc?

The pain is in the center of my stomach. I have bowel movements, not frequently though. I'm not taking any fiber supplement, but was prior to surgery. I'm seeing my GP tomorrow. I thought I might ask her, but didn't know if this is normal.

I still have some pain and I'm 23 days post op. I saw my surgeon yesterday, and he said it was normal to still have pain. Mine is near my big incision sight.

Hi I'm two weeks out and still have quite a bit of pain-- in the middle of my stomach near the two big incisions. Stomach feels mushy inside too. Still taking a pain med 2x per day to handle it.

Did you get to the doctor and get an idea of what is happening?

I did see my surgeon. he said it was very normal to still have pain. he said that it would get better in the next week or so which it has. I was on the pain medicine for quite a while. I also feel a little soft our as you said mushy. I've been starting to exercise more and that seems to be helping.
